A day ago I stumbled across an MMO game about WWII tanks. The premise is that you select either Germany or Russia and create a tank commander to play as.

Here's where it gets interesting: You can earn new tanks, trade in old ones, and generally modify your tanks however you want using a combat credit currency system. It is somewhat like the forum game we have going in the gaming forum, but now we fight the opposing side in a digital environment.

Before I even downloaded it, I thought of you guys. I think it would be simply awesome if we, as a group of WWII tank enthusiasts, made a tank corps for ourselves and did battle with like-minded individuals from around the world.

If enough people like the game and want to pursue this, maybe we can discuss what side we want to play as.

 

Looks promising, really. I'm afraid I don't have the time to actually compete though. :-?

nice a topic started by Danyel Phelps. i wonder how he is doing now that he is banned. doen't anybody miss him? i do. he wrote the scenario for the panzer comic and i liked that commic.

say, does anybody has his last picture? the one with the atomic bomb explosion that gives the finger. i once saw it but i forgot to save it. i really liked that one

 

I downloaded it and played a bit with Danyel. It was a poor game, try Steel Panthers instead. Then I lost contact with him...

I think you're a bit late to try joining this game. The original poster, Danyel Phelps, was banned shortly after creating this topic (for completely unrelated reasons).
