Hi, all Military and Aviation Enthusiasts,

In present time I prepared short article about two interesting episodes from the Second World War took place in Turkey territory. Does anybody have, please, relating photos, documents and infos about final fates of two Axis aeroplanes whose crews escaped to Turkey during WW2?:

    1./
Heinkel He 111H-6 twin engined bomber (Werk Nummer 7135, fuselage codes A1+DH) od 1. Staffel KG 53 of the German Luftwaffe. Flying from Rostov (Russia) on 3 December 1942 landed intact near Meschet, Turkey.

Crew: Uffz Mayer, Eugen, Uffz Geyer, Hans-Joachim, Uffz Blome, Johann, Ogfr Rautenberg, Willi, and Gefr Blaha, Walter – interned in Turkey.
Blaha, who was Czech origin, was later released and sent for the Czechoslovak Armed Forces in England.

    2./
Avia B-71 twin engined bomber (ex Russian SB), serial B-71.19 (fuselage code V-3) of Slovakian Air Arms (Vzdusne zbrane). Flying from Trencianske Biskupice (Slovakia) on 18 April 1943 force landed near Kestanelike, Turkey.

Crew members: Sgt Anton Vanko, Private Ludovit Polak, Private Frantisek Slezak, Sgt Jozef Koman and Sgt Jan Bzoch.
All were interned in Turkey and later released for the Czechoslovak Armed Forces in England.
