We have some collectors here who know these better. What do you think of the pics, and what would you consider its´worth by these pics? The phone is being sold on a Finnish net auction site. Thanx for replies!!
Hi Kai, I know someone who can get you one for around $65 - to about $100-here in the States. In fact, the last show he went ot was a few weeks ago and he saw several for sale there for between those prices. I don't know i any sold or not? but when I had talked with him on the phone-hementioned seeing 3-4 German Army phones for sale. He also saw a WWI German phone as well. PS, I saw on a German Militaria site-I forget which? most likely it was Weitzes site-who had a few phones for sale-but wanted well over 300 Euros for them-WAY too high.
Maybe if you buy it you could call Martin Bull on his field radio. (http://www.ww2f.com/militaria/20151-german-radio-falaise-relic.html) I'm just not sure if they are capable of handling English
This is not the normal, field-use Feldfernsprecher 33 but looks more like the so-called 'bunker-type' phone. Good 33s sell for about 40-75 Euros depending on markings and year, but the type in Kai's pics appear much less frequenetly and command higher prices.
Nice link, kai - yes, that's the one, 'tisch' = 'table'. Much harder to find than the 33 'field' model.....
Thanx for the info. I decided not to buy in the first place as the price seemed to be 2-3x the normal price. This proves it.
