German WW 2 ammo, etc. box collection

    well I thought I would try to see if some of these pics come out

    comments welcome from all.

    first is a nice little 8.8cm Flak fuze box. has the wooden sleeve protector that the fuses sat in underneath metal protector though the whole bottom of the box. nicely marked with appropriate labeling. Makers code impressed and also the waffenamt stamp as well.

    I love these ammo boxes and have been tempted many times over the years (they can still be found in Europe for relatively low prices ).

    But such a collection is one thing that I really don't have the room for......:(

    That is an excellent collection Erich. Ever since I saw a war film (Stalingrad?) where two soldiers were carrying an ammo box between them, I've always wanted to take a closer look and possibly own one myself.

    this makes 5 boxes now in the collection and with my infant foto skills...........HELP ! well be patient will adjust and take closer views, the boxes are quite varied and of course have militaria and other work related items covering them at present.

    Hi E, this item would go very nicely alongside that 88 Flak gun i have sitting in my backyard ;-0)
