Well it looks like I have found yet another home on the internet :D

My name is Christian, and I am from that little country, which shamefully surrendered within a few hours of being attacked by Germany.

My interest in WWII started at age 5, when I first looked through my cousins commando and miniBIG pocket comics.
Since then my interest have only become bigger, and my knowledge more substancial (my high-school history teacher was asking me if his information on this era was correct). :D

My primary interest in WWII is the weapons used, but I have a little interest in just about anything that relates to this great and dark era.

Besides WWII my hobbies include online mmo's, computer games in general, roleplaying games (DnD, not the kinky kind), Medieval fencing, and other nerdy things.

Hope that this gives a picture of who I am.

Welcome Christian, It is good to have you here with us.

You can speak of you nation's action as you wish, I can't tell you how to think. But my opinion, for what is worth is that I see no shame in the surrender of Denmark under the conditions it faced. Was there any hope of holding off the invaders? Regardless, much redemption was earned by your nation's work in spiriting your Jewish citizens to Sweden right out from under the German's noses. That was heroic.

That is true JW, when we finally woke up, we created one of the best resistance orginizations of the war, and had the lowest fatallity rate of our persecuted citizens.

Welcome. There are alot of very knowledgable folks on here.
Medieval fencing is something I always wanted to try. I just haven't found anyone here in Wyoming that even knows what it is. I think you'll truly enjoy this place, I spend way too much time here myself.

Welcome, we need more people from Denmark, they don't have that bad a reputaion in this part of Montana. That is for sure, we used the example of King Christian with his wearing of the Star of David to make it hard for the Nazis to find the Jews in Danish society. Here in Billings Montana we had a 'hate-group' try to intimidate our Jewish community by defiling our local synagogue and throwing crap through Jewish windows displaying a menorah . Our local paper printed a full page menorah on the last page of our paper, and everybody put one in their windows over the Christmas season. The movie; Not In Our Town is that story. Even if the story of the Danish monarch is a myth, it worked like a charm.

I've never been to much of a Dungeons and Dragons type guy, but my oldest son certainly is. Here is a link to the "table" he has built for himself and his fellow players in his basement in Iowa. The boy is pretty good with his hands and mental applications as you can see.

I may not know a thing about the game itself, but the work he has done on this table and its rear-projection surface boggles my old/decrepit mind.

That is my son "Spynal Tom", his real name is Jason BTW.
