    New member here,

I am particularly interested in how medium size and smaller nations in ww2 would have prospered, that is taking advantage of the situations as they were. Obviously I am open to more things.

Thanks all. I have a question, how can a poster tell if a prospective topic would be locked ? I found that the topic on alternative history of Japan against the USSR had been posted thrice but locked thrice.

Here is the criteria for new topics:

Contact me or one of the other moderators if you would like a topic re-opened. If it is not one that has been beaten to death (e.g. How could Germany win, etc) we will certainly give it due consideration. Most of the ones that were closed was because the moon-bats and fan-bois don't know when to shut up and color.

Thank all posters and readers who invited me. After more than half a year on this site, the following is my reflection about topic contents.

I have found the ww2 information in Finland quite interesting: not only it is less covered in English language media but it is less organized than info on the Western Front. Probably due to this lesser attention, perspectives about ww2 Finland from German, Finland and the SU sometimes do contrast each other. Through this site, my idea which was posted at the beginning on this thread, was to attend to medium size nations - Finland, Italy, Romania.

ww2 Thailand on geographical perspectives is similar to Italy but it was not facing an US-led opposition.

Imperial Japan on geographical perspectives is similar to Finland -- China and Korea have long been its target of exploitation. Inner and Outer Manchuria, Mongolia and Sakhalin island added another, often neglected dimension of Russia and Soviet Union to IJ's struggle for influence.

Hello, this post is for about less than a year reflection of my participation to this site. So far I have concentrated efforts in mid-size power: Finland, Italy, Romania, Spain, Turkey etc. in their effort in ww2. Are my posts considered spamming because of the concentration -- in other words, how concentration of efforts is viewed.

Your posts are fine kdp, I can't remember any thing objectionable, and no one has complained so all's well there. I always appreciate a look at the "minor" nations, they are all too often overlooked.

And a very belated welcome aboard.

When I see this kind of post, I usually remind myself about sources. Information from sources is the link to trust. Mr H. approved the invasion to the SU, despite signing a treaty with it. Saying something while the source-in-use supports the opposite viewpoint is similar to breaking off a treaty; making oneself a "loose cannon" before long.

    A question about diplomacy:

In discussion and activities among posters, are there diplomacy involved? I am just curious.
