Help please!!!!

Hi fellas.

As some of you know I own Microsoft Combat Flight Sim 2, but whenever I am shooting a plane down the text at the top of the screen which shows radio conversation, damage to your plane, etc. doesn't show anything, except to say "You shot down AGM2 Zero" or whatever, when you actually shot it down. It doesn't say "You hit AGM2 Zero's left fuel tank", "You hit AGM2 Zero's pilot"
How can I get this text to appear please?

btw i think you have to change something in your cfs2.cfg file (set messages to 1 or something....i'll check my configuration file for you tomorrow!...it's been a while).

I think you are looking for a cheat!

open cfs2.cfg (it's in your cfs2 dfolder and add this:

[CHEATS]
bomb_trainer=1
damagemsgs=1
free_warp=1
ALLOW_SLEW=1

altough for the fun of the game i would only add this one:

[CHEATS]
bomb_trainer=0
damagemsgs=1
free_warp=0
ALLOW_SLEW=0

Do you know of any cheats for adding nose art to the planes?

 

No...but you can repaint most/all aircraft.
cfs3 supports nose art!

 

How can you repaint the aircraft please?

 

There are many programs that can open textures (even ms paint) but making a good repaint is an art by itself!

Is there anywhere where you can get downloadable skins for the planes, that are simple to install. Painting planes is a bit to complex for me.
