    I was looking for a forum to share my interest in the war and ww2f was the best I've found. I just wanted to say hello anyway and I'm looking forward to many discussions with you all :)

    My main interest is in the land war western front from D-day onwards and the early battles of the western front. Can't seem to stop buying books on the subject. These days I've been paying more attention to the eastern front though.

    Welcome aboard! I worked in Kilkenny for 1.5 years, and was a regular visitor to Co. Waterford. Beautiful place :)

    I used to live about 10 miles outside Kilkenny myself. A little village called Ballyragget, I went to secondary school over in Castlecomer. You'll probably have passed through it a few times I'd say.
