I just stumbled upon the site while starting to research my uncle's military history. Well, I became fascinated with what I have read so far. I am a Post-war baby boomer and live in Texas. I love history but was never that interested in war history but the more I learn the more interesting it becomes, especially WWII. Now I understand why my dad and my father-in-law never really talked about. It wasn't until after my dad died that I found out he had been in 13 major sea battles. I regret never knowing what he went through. Anyway, I am glad to be here!
