Howdy, A friend of Balderdasher who suggested we give this place a look over. Still teaching Social Studies and classes include local Air Cadets who's most common reasons for giving up on online forum participation are rudeness, bullying and overly-patriotic cadres. Hope to find places for them to do online research too. While looking for separate forums for our own hobbies too. Not as travelled or international as Dash, but have been around long enough to see historical facts change. We've taught at same school, Dash was one who'd lecture our classes on their experiences growing up and going to school in other countries. I'm always interested in new historical video series by reliable impartial historians and would appreciate any suggestions and recommendations. Especially if connected to PBS and free-for-educational programs and lesson plans. Like Dash, our schools go on foreign trips regarding history and would love suggestions on museums in various nations. Also like Dash, involved in student exchange programs. Unlike Dash, I'm under-paid and cheer for his home-town's nemesis Please, if you don't like my question, don't bother participating. Don't hijack the string demanding it become what you want in a question instead. Go start your own then please. If some of us use sports analogies alot, bear with us, we coach together too. Forgive us if we get confused between different forum rules, and take anything said by a teacher on a friday or monday night with a grain of salt, the former because we're drunk and the latter because it's monday and we dealt with brain-dead zombies-for-students and have to review everything tuesday again . Thanks and cheers lads. Kibblesnbits ps...apologies in advance if any of my abbreviations offend. Please advise.
