We had a cat that used to sit in front of a German mate and 'raise it's right arm above the shoulder'.
Only ever did it to her... most odd.

I would like to know if anyone knows why this law is still in effect in Germany? I mean isn't this the same censorship the Nazi's did? I mean the truth about the Nazis and the Holocaust should make it clear to any clear thinking person that the Nazis were not Nice People, why destroy freedom of speech to protect the Govt? From what these Nut Cases?

The germans are so paranoid about the nazi past that the government has enacted some really stupid laws. I can remember being in a bar in Kiel and the guys at the table next to us were older people. When, the one older guy got up to leave the others stood up at attention, and clicked their heels. No Hitler salute tho. Most of those old guys are dead now, but because of jewish, and international pressure the german government keeps the strict anti-nazi laws. Why they are so worried about a nazi revival is beyond me, but a few nutcases always make headlines.

Very good points chiefgeorge. As far as being 'paranoid', who can blame them? I'd be paranoid too if I knew that I would end up in the slammer for saying something 'taboo'.

Slightly off topic I admit but any cat that has served as a special forces frog man deserves some acknowledgement.
