    Guys,

    I know nothing about the Soviets in WWII.

    The attached photo is of my wifes relative, can you tell me anything about him from the photo.

    Rank, etc , etc. as we know nothing except a name and that he might have died at Kharkov.

    I see the pic now. Quite frankly it's impossible for me to tell. The rank insigia are of an Air Force Senior Lieutenant, more than that is beyond me, there simply are no clues.
