I have been doing research into my fathers Military History, and found this oral history in the Library of Congress which mentions my father as well as tracks his Units movements during the War. He was Lt. McLean, 127th AA Bn.
I'm not sure this is the right place to post this but it's interesting reading, at least for me.

It is good reading Statue, it's always good to find information on family and friends.

Thanks, Statue. My Dad was in an Anti-Aircraft Battery with the Canadian Army. Interesting to read what it was like on a battery.
