very good programme that I had no intention of watching initially...I didn't realise he was actually born on London (44) and that his family moved to the US post-war (47). He was also able to discover that his family left Germany on one of the last possible shipments, late July 1939 - as the programme pointed out Britian was just about the only country then still taking German Jews, the US had strict quotas of course...the man himself was seen in tears at a number of different points through the programme..very moving story..

    I agree
Found the programme very moving and when you see what those people went thru sort of puts things in prospective.
