Damnit, I was #2005. Hope the lucky winner comes forward. They'll probably wait a few days though, need to consult an attorney about the legal and financial implications and all.

Dang it. I never win anything. At least my mother thinks I'm a winner.

Poppy, let's do the math. You have some 6,000 posts, and 2,000 profile views. That means one out of every three posts you make prompts the reader to say, "who the heck wrote that?" and then review the author's profile. :)

i think- it may be about 50-50. People who like me vs peeps who just come to see a circus freak.
But, i'll take 'em all. ..it's better to be talked about than ignored.
    Cheers all.

Poppy, you are our light in the darkness.

    That has several meanings.

1 A ray of sunshine on a dull day
2 A bolt of lightning on a dark night
3 A glare of intense light during an interrogation
4 A torch to guide the way ahead
5 A match to start an inferno
6 A gleam in your eye

You are many things to many people.

You surely mean "our darkness in the light"? As in "everything is fine and dandy until that dreaded Canadian bastard shows up"!

Almost sounds like you were paraphrasing McPherson's Rant.
