M1 Helmet marking?

    I recently bought a front seam swivel bale M1 helmet and it has the marking
    S
    286A
    right under the seam, I know it’s a Schleuter but does anyone know what year it’s from approximately or anything else? My second question is that the liner has the marking M23 on the bottom, what does this mean?
