I had a brother-in-law Marine Officer, he wrote to my sister and told about crossing Equator. He must have been short on paper because he typed on both sides of of the paper. He double spaced and when done you could read one line and the next line was up-side-down, so you could read it,the next line. It is a good story about 3 day's in that the en-listed men were in charge and officer's had to do what ever they were told to do.Any-one who had already crossed were called Shell-back's all other officer's were colled Dirty,Slimy,Filthy, Pollywag's. Officer's were paddled and he said not byschoolgirls wielding the paddle but wererollicking adult Husky Marines coming back for their 2nd or 3rd tour in the Japanese enfested Islands.I don't know how to pit the story on the we or if any-one was interested I could e-mail the letter if you send me your address.

Hi Sir--try contacting Stevin O here or Volkbert--they both can post things sent to them by scans or snailmail. Also just let them know your a vet as well(not that will matter in getting help from them)--as vets are some of their favorite poeple like they are mine.
