I could put them online if ther eis interest, but keep in mind this is the French version . I could also stick to the pictures only but these are available about everywhere. It's just that many
people don't realise Signal was the initial source of so many picture that are often referred to with other sources.

    Here's another cover for you

yes used in many of the older periodicals but rare enough indeed, propaganda at it's fines for the folks back home like the separate branch of services magazines like Die Wehrmacht and Die Kriegsmarine which I have several copies. Indeed rare and very useful.

    good one Skip

I have a book on Signal that I got when I was a boy. I think this photo is in it. I'll have to dig it out and see, now.

If you digitize them, I'll give them on a home on Hyperwar, with due credit to you, of course. If you need help digitizing I know this half-crazy guy in Missouri....

Why not , but not before a couple of months, I am currently translating a booklet for a commemoration for a USAAF airman and it's needed early May, so that my current priority, but when I have time I don't mind sharing them . I have 11 issues in French and one in Dutch. The Dutch one is easy to recognize because the title is "SIGNAAL" with 2 "a"s

Good find Skipper. Flea markets are fun .... Love the old stuff. I've a bunch of old Mechanix Illustrated from around the same time. Like how they phrased their sentences, the ads, the letters, the technology. Gives some insight into the microcosm of our forefathers. Nice.

Thanks Poppy. I'm actually a bit surprised by the fact some of you say these are rare. I see them from time to time at markets and even in people's cellars. not many even bother to pick them up . I will start looking more activelly for issues I don't have have yet. I also see der Adler issues from time to time and French wartime magazines too.

This is the kind of stuff Hyperwar was made for, to get the material out of the attics and basements, and give it to the world.

I'll gladly help you , it's more a matter of time than of principle. I also have a collection of Ausweisses , they are all different types. In May I should have a couple of spare days . digitize the magazines will be kind of hard with my scanner though, the mags are A3 size. I may actually just take pictures (like I did with the cover pages)
