I kept mine in a shoebox for years untill i needed to wear them in full dress uniform.... Normally it was field uniforms IE bdus or acus LOL
Thanks Mike, this does give a rough idea of what you have been playing at for the last few years http://www.americal.org/awards/achv-svc.htm
Since im not into collecting AMerican Mil, thank you for the explanations. I feel like i'm in Kindergarten on that subjact ;-))
We have something similar over here, one or two of my sergeants have 'badges' for 'under water wood welding' Thanks for the explanation, I had a US Army Major in my company at Sandhurst (by the name of Killbride, Airborne, holds the records for the highest number of continuous days on tour and I believe individual kills by an officer of anyone in the US Army, hell of a chap with a very interesting history, changed my view on the US army totally) That makes sense of a few of his ribbons.
boy that name sure rings a bell buddy was his Name Thomas Kilbride... if so I remeber he was a Rifle company commander in the 1/505 parachute infantry reg of the 82nd ABN.... Our sister regiment... I was 325 Airborne infantry,,,,
Thats some of my stuff full size... I posted earlier how my nephew made the case for me in his 9th grade shop class... Im more proud of shi workmanship.. Not bad for a 13 year old kid.. I gotta add my unit crests and global war on terror campaign medals to this.... i figure ill let my nephew do it.. Im liable to bust somethign LOL
That's pretty cool. I don't think his name was Thomas, I know his initial was J but being a young scrote I didn't ask what it stood for, I'd still be banging out the 'punishment pressups' today if I had!
