Hello guys, I've started collecting earlier this year, and found this site.
    Here's a picture of everything.

Hi Chris, welcome to the site and hope you will enjoy viewing and commentating on others collections as well. There have been many great items that can be seen here. I especially like your Fallschirmmesser-the wood is in extrordinary condition to say the least. I used to have two of these myself but traded them away years ago.

Thanks C. Evans, yes that piece is what started it all to say the least. My grandfather gave it to me earlier this year. He was in WWII and picked it off a paratrooper. All the others I have purchased.

Hi Chris, that's even better getting things from your Grandfather ;-)) DO you have any info on where he fought? or what Fallschirmjager ( Paratrooper) unit he fought against?

Welcome to our hobby Chris. You have a fine start there, may I ask where you purchased your KL armband from?

That collection may be small, but that's some nice stuff. Especially the arm band with the star of david, holocaust stuff is insanely hard to find and expensive.

    Thanks everyone.
The swastika armband is a replica. But everything else is legit, to my knowledge.

Your SS Enlistedmans Buckle is about a $500.00 piece by itself. That Gravity Knife would be worth more if someone along the line-had not tried to sharpen it-which is a BIG no-no. Had it not been sharpened? that Gravity could be between $350.00-to-about $700.00.

Yea, Im pretty sure my grandfather did that or maybe my dad when he was younger.
The little pin you flip up on it broke off. This guy on another forum recommended this guy in some other state to fix it but Im not sure.

Hi Chris, I too know a guy who knows a guy who can fix it. Would the one you know also happen to be from Washington? If so? were probably talking about the same person ;-)) Anyway, the person im talking about is very reputable and can find original parts where others can't.

Hi Chris, PM will be sent shortly. I don't have much I can say in it that can't be said in public but ill let you know who to go to to get in touch with this guy ;-))

Hi Chris, I attempted to PM ya but your PM has not been activated yet.

Anyway, the guy I can tell about in public isnt a secret. You will have to register over at www.wartradersguild.com and tell them I referred you there because it's an By invite only site-which is designed to keep the "riff-raff" outta there. Anyway, register there and either Bill Garvy or Brain F, will give you the "keys" to get in and then just send a PM to Frank-telling him about your Gravity Knife and of what you need for it and he knows a guy who can fix it. Frank is a VERy wellknown and respected West Coast Collector, and you will have no trouble with him-by what I mean in that he will be one of the few you can really trust-from the first time out.

Thanks C.Evans. I wasnt sure if you did'nt want the information to go out or not. I'll get right on that and see what he can do.

My dad gave me this badge today. I tried to research it, but got nothing. If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks!

Hi Chris, quite welcome and, I am a Mod there so just let me know fi you need anything?

Also, your latest is a Leather Tinnie. I've seen a few of those over the years. I've sleo seen some made of pressed Walnut. Those are nice looking. I've also seen some made of pressed paper as well-which actualy look nice in themselves.

    wow Chris,

Thats a pretty impressive collection you got there. Thats an amazing jewish/holocaust armband. It tells us story just by looking at it. Can just Imagine what that person(s) went through who wore that armband..

    thanks for sharing

Nice white sportshirt emblem from the NSFK fliegerkorps too , those are pretty rare now .
The leather tinnie is a socalled 'tagungsabzeigen' from a 'gautag' , a 'gau' you could compare to a 'state' in USA so from quite a big NSDAP party meeting in 1935 in 'gau' Hessen -Nassau held in the city of Darmstad .. these were available as long as the meeting lasted and bought as souvenirs .

    Excellent continued collection chris.

Is there any stories behind any of it?
