National Geographic channel had a show called "Hitler's Forgotton Holocaust

    The show was about the Einsatzgruppen who followed Wehrmacht East.They spoke to survivors and Holocaust scholars as well as used pictures and even a short film pf a shooting to inform the viewer on what went on.

    What was most eery was the fact that at one of the sites you still can find expended bullet casings from the shootings by using a metal detector.

    1.5 million people were killed this way over the period from 1941 to 1945. However, with the development of the death camps, the mass shootings slowed down. The main cause of death for Jews from 42' on was carbon monoxide and Zyklon B.

    I saw that listing but did not get a chance to watch it. Should have recorded it.
