Well I've just managed to get hold of a Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.2 manufactured in 1955. Ok I know what you're saying nothing special. Until I found out that it has only ever had 2 rounds put through it in it's 52 year existance. It looks and feels brand new, no wear on the bolt or magazine, the bolt head has no marks at all from being fired wit British made .303 The rifle went straight into military surplus after it came off the production line (being fired once for military proof) was then imported to America but was never used, shipping back to the UK about 2 years ago, was proofed once again for commercial sale in the UK and then sold onto the chap I bought it off. Though he never had chance to use it. So it remains, as new. I'll hopefully get some photos up for those who are interested and maybe a video of it being used for target shooting for the first time.
This I would love to see.I unfortunately had to pass on an Enfield a few months ago.Got a house to fix up and sell and a wedding to pay for.
