Sounds like a bunch of egg headed left wing wackos to me but if the majority of state decides they want to do it, I say let them.

I personally hope they actually try it. I'd get a good laugh watching the Federal Army do to Vermont what it did to the South. :bang:

However, I do agree with you, JC, about the people whose idea this is. ;)

    It's Vermont, who cares ?

Quebeckers will have to go further east or west to get into the states, lol

Maybe Quebec and Vermont can form their own confederation.

Afterwards, the Union Army will run through and destroy everything. Then they will impose 10 years of Reconstruction. ;)

yeah, we can send the bluecoats in(in neat 9x9 formations) and any opposition will have to deal with the muskets. personally, I wouldnt care if quebec left canada. They have become pretty whiney, and we have to do big things for them just to keep the support for union with canada above water.

Of course, where are you gonna find another William Tecumseh Sherman to drive home the lesson properly? ;)

True. We can't fight wars anymore that may hurt someone's feelings. Besides, Greenpeace would not tolerate all the air pollution from burning the cities and farms.
