Tomorrow is my first day as a regular Universal History teacher... Oficially it is 12 groups of 50 pupils each... That's 36 classes per week...

I hope I would be able to have time enough to visit the forums... You now, reading homeworks, the opera thing, my novel... Too many things.

I just hope to be one of those teachers who taught teenagers how to love History. I am only worried for the fact that I am only three years older than these teenagers... Won't they kill me after a few days...?

Only wanted to tell you that! Wish me luck!

Good Luck Friedrich :D I hope you do well

You shouldn't worry about your age. My Spanish teacher was only 5 years older than I was, and she was barely three years older than some of the seniors in my class.

When your 30 or 40 years older than your students is when you should start worrying :D

Good luck. Like the saying goes, you're gonna need it...

Seriously though, I'm sure you'll manage. Just print a couple of pages of our military quizes and use 'em as tests! Remember, anything under 95% correct answers is an F!

Hope you had fun on the 1st day? If they start to get aotta line--hang a 4 inch thick Oak wooden paddle obove the chalkboard--it'll make them think twice before acting like clowns. :D

Wow, its a little duce coupe, you dont know what she's got...

    Come on spot the reference...

How was the first day Freddy? As a teenage student I know what kind of pests we can be full well. Personally I reckon you should carry a cattle prod, I would if I were you.

    'Stop talking there!'

    'Or what?'

    FIZZZZZ

    'Ok! Ok! I'll stop!'

Speaking of cattle prods, during my freshman year my science teacher who just graduated from college, had this prod which he used to wake up people who he saw sleeping. Well after one week no one slept during class.

What a wicked, WICKED car No 9. One day when I'm rich I'll have to buy it. ;) That and a 1953 BMW convertable black with tan top and interior.

Right now I drive a pretty nice car though...1980 Monte Carlo...tinted windows...wooo yeah.

Good luck Friedrich! Don't tell them too much about WWII. I am afraid there will come more WWII collectors in the future. And there is too much competition these days.

Keep us informed about your school adventures!

OK everyone - I think I know which port we can disembark from if we've overloaded a little on booze, drugs and WWII weaponry.... :D :D :D
