I'm partial to the P-47 but these are nice too. John Stanaway has a book in the works about the P-38 but due to lack-luster interest from publishers it is in hiatus. For all intents and purposes it was a 'draw'. They landed, switched planes and after a quick pre-flight flew against each other to another stalemate.
