Pat you know the bomb group and the date of the mission ? impressive photo to be sure. Can you imagine about 15 Fw 190A-8's blasting their way through that from the rear and getting pounded by .50's in return .........
In the next week or so, White Flight will be posting some of my pics for me. When he does, i'd like to see if someone here can identify the types of German tanks that are pictured. Two pics are very early war and are most likely taken in France or even Poland. Anyway guys, great pics that are already posted here.
Rommel that is a pretty close copy of Marseilles 109 that he had while in Russia for a very short stint in JG 27, have had the a/c fly over my head at Chino A/F some years ago when they rolled out their Recon Me 262 for the first time before the public on a very hazy October day.....
found this one in a book I've bought: http://img502.imageshack.us/my.php?image=imag2167nv0.jpg hawker tempest MK.V
I've seen this picture posted somewhere else on this forum before. Also for those who like tanks I have just opened a thread for the French 2nd armoured division with great Sherman tank pictures (now and then)
