I checked the site and almost fell out of my chair!!  These definately are all Works-of-Art. Everyone is a beautiful precision piece of craftmanship--and I would give my left--well--I would give something to own any one of these items. :D

If this stuff is for real it's great! I wish that on every picture was written: Volkbert's collection. :D

Hey, guys, how about we find out where the owners live and maybe go into cat burgalery (however tis spelt). I will take Sepp's sword, 2 dagers and you can split the rest between you? ;) :D

Bet my careers advisor at school didn't see that one coming...

Ah Stefan, you may have to work out another deal for I would have my eyes on that same sword.

Man, too bad there isn't more info on how these items "Got to where they are," if that makes any sense.

Nice to see you guys liked the artifacts. I wasn´t sure if the site had been somewhere earlier but I thought that maybe some had not seen them and decided to put it here.

I can see it was a good decision!

    :D ;)

:D Kenraali, my friend--you have a knack for posting great stuff in the proper places--keep it up.

PS: I hope you have the opportunity this weekend to show off your Beer bottle and Beer Cap :D Make the friends a little envious. ;)

Can anyone direct me to a good site about German daggers? A professor at my college showed me a dagger- sort of slim with pearl collored handle shaped like an eagle at the end, the hilt has a swastika in a small wreath in its middle and the scabbard is metallic with a dress tassle and two small belts which come together to a clip- she said her father was given by a dying German officer in the Fatherland in '45. Her story about her father was also pretty interesting. She said he was a tank recovery soldier in Patton's Third Army and that he spoke German. The dying German officer spoke a little English as well and come to find out, both men had attended the University of Arizona at the same time!

Kai, thanks for the site. However, I still don't see what I'm looking for here. The dagger I have looks similiar to the "Army Dagger" more-so in the scabbard, but the dagger itself, preferably the handle, favours the RAD dagger, although not exactly the same. Also, I found the exact type of "SA" dagger that I have, so that helped. Thank you.

Possibly because this is an old thread Harleyman. You will notice that one of the members who took part in it is not even part of the forum any more.
