Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band. All of their songs are about history and they are mostly based on the WWII.
I'm a fan of this band since 2010 and I'm sure metal fans on this forum will be interested.

Here's one of their most famous songs, Primo Victoria. It's about D-Day.

A little too epic for me, but nice nonetheless.

Can't say I listen to metal often (little Metallica and System of a Down when working out) but the content is interesting and can't complain of a little history for the younger generation.

I know, I kind of like Halestorm for example , but I prefer small bands like Hateshpere (from Denmark) .

Yeah I've learnt more about WWII from Sabaton than from my history teacher lol.

    Sounds cool.
