Hi, I have a four years old iMac (Mac OS X version 10.5.8). See the screencapture.

I would like to play a wargame. I prefer a realistic strategic wargame in which you control your army.

Do you know of any good game that I can play easily on my older Mac?

    Thanks for your help!

Have you looked into buying a 'dual-boot' program like vmware or parallels that would run Windows? That should allow you to run whatever game you want, assuming your processor and RAM can handle it. I've never been a fan or Apple software, but their hardware is top-notch.

I have the program called Parallels but never installed it because I don't know how to do it.

There was a Bridge Too Far game I used to play on the MAC. Not a bad game. Spent hours on train with it.

I just ripped this from a few google results. Maybe something will grab your interest.

    Unity of Command

Also I'm unsure if unity of command will work on your Mac, but I strongly recommend you give it a try - i'll probably end up making an article here about the latter.

Hope you enjoy some video games on your OS.

Hopefully I fixed it, just googled the games names and replaced them. Thanks.

edit: looks like the first game changed its entire game into something else.

Unfortunately matrixgames also tends to have a forty dollar mark up for games that existed decade prior, gross.
