shadow box question #2, 23rd infantry regiment patch

    Again, I am building a shadowbox regarding my grandfather's service in WWII. He was in the 23rd infantry regiment of the 2nd Infantry Division. I have found a nice DUI for the 23rd inf. regiment, but i was curious of whether there was an actual patch that was worn at that time for the regiment designation.

    There was not patch for the regiment, just the DUI. The patch would be the 2nd Infantry Division.
