MY MISTAKE, however it doesn't change what happened there or who was responsible for what happen. I am sorry I was looking at many sites for this one and made a mistake in the subject line. I apologize for calling this an Official Site.

I was checking out several sites looking for this site. This maybe too much for some to view, be prepared.

Some of these are the films/photos smuggled out of China and that the 11 TH BGH was shown before leaving for the Pacific in early 1942 from Hickam.

Certainly some wince-inducing stuff, though I think it'd be hard to understate just how nasty a business Nanking was. Not uniquely so, but right up there.

I'm intrigued as to how it's an 'official' site, PA?
Seems to be registered in Canada.

Interesting site. it seems private, not official though. It was designed via a Swedish site

Iris Chang wrote the book THE RAPE OF NANJING a few years ago. It does a wonderful job of reporting the true story.

In December 1937, the Japanese army swept into the ancient city of Nanking. Within weeks, more than 300,000 Chinese civilians were systematically raped, tortured, and murdered—a death toll exceeding that of the atomic blasts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. Using extensive interviews with survivors and newly discovered documents, Iris Chang has written what will surely be the definitive history of this horrifying episode. The Rape of Nanking tells the story from three perspectives: of the Japanese soldiers

I changed the title so it is no longer seen as "official". Read at your own discretion.
