anyone try them yet? I have several spring piston pistols and an aeg Thompson m1a1. I like them, but have found no one who wants to do combat with eye protection and uniforms around here. I have a Browning Hi-power, a Luger, a PPK, a 1911a1. a beretta 92sf and an mp40 too oh and a car 15 almost forgot those two. up in Chicago they do ww2 softair battles 98ks vs m1 carbines
soft air Hey Dave and Kellhound too bad we dont live within range we could have a battle. It is unbelievable how behind the times Arkies are. It seems like trends take a decade longer to reach back into these mountains. I am in the Ouachita mts Wash ee ta. they are wooded hills with a propensity for clay and crystal. and the terain would be great to reenact the Ardenne, or battle of the bulge
Re: soft air alot of my friends have bbguns aswell a couple have M-16, M-4, MP5, various pistols and rifles aswell
my mate has a Spas 12 shotgun aswell and believe me that hurts, another friend of mine had a life size desert eagle bbgun aswell
soft air seems like the UK is awake. btw what are your ages.? I think that here they are restricted to 18 or older, I am safe however as I am already collecting social security. :bang:
air soft would be great for my Nephew Ian he just turned 14 and loves guns. unfortunately his mother got him taken away and he has been adopted and we may never see him again -we were very close up until the dfs got into it. In Australia they recently classified air soft guns as firearms and said you may turn them in to the police without penalty. I emailed them asking them"" what drugs are you guys on?""
Wal-Mart has them. air soft guns Just to be on the safe side Wal-mart is selling tansparent ones, and they are selling the pellets. still for me thats good news. you could always spray your new Beretta phantom invisible 9mm flat black...
ww2 softair battles in some places they are using ww2 uniform look alikes (Swedish for German ) and green fatigues for hbt(Ami)and voila you can replicate ww2 battles and eliminate the guess work about taking hits that the ww2 reenactors go thru also obviously there will be YOUTHS
more air soft info ok since I made the suggestion that we have a reenactmen/airsoft battle section and was told no never mind, they sent me to the reenactor forum.proboards and LO they had a huge airsoft section with lotsa nice pix and beua coup informationen. so anyone who is intererested can schlep over there and schmooze with doze guyz
Thats a very cool piece Kellhound  :bang: To start I want a Classic Army M15A4 carbine or, if its not available I want a Classic Army G36c, both AEG 8) CA M15a4: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn ... review.htm ICS MP5 is also very cool: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn ... _mp5a4.htm (Note: can someone edit my picutre, its to big)
Thanks for editing. There is also a G36 available from another manufacturer that has a nicer magazine, you can see the bullets (fake ofcourse) trough the magazine, like in the real version.
Classic Army also has the "false bullets" magazine, but in the box with the rifle comes the "hi-cap" without them. Classic Army has a bit of a bad reputation around some airsofters in Spain because bad quality control, but i own an M15A2 (Armalite licensed markings) and the G36 and i have no complain. They are good right out the box and don't need any "custom job" to make them fun to play with. I have the Classic Army G36C, but i turned it into the LMG version. Trouble is the "hi-cap" C-mag is not very good for skirmishing.
Owning stuff like that over here could easily get you an armed police unit on your doorstep. There was one hilarious incident in the town centre a few years back when armed police were called out when a woman spotted her neighbour's kid with a water pistol...
