Soviets didn't win...Hitler lost

This is a big generalization, sorry. I think that the soviets only won due to hitler's carelessness and german supply problems. The soviets had lots of raw materials and manufacturing, but was incompetently led at times. The soviets had larger numbers, but they wasted their men in suicidal attacks. Casualty figures are enormous for the soviets compared to the germans The soviet war almost always seemed as one of great desperation.
