HI everyone. I am based in the Isle of Man and have been recently researching details of my family. In doing so I can only say thankyou to all those who have given their lives in service of our country. The loss of life has staggered me, and as someone who has never been faced with the reality of war I can not begin to understand what it meant, or the impact on families of those who did not return, or were held POW.
