    Remember when that Swiss guy, Yves Rossy, called off his "jet-wing" flight over the Grand Canyon last Friday? Well the reason was told as being a problem with the FAA on exactly what to "call his invention" so that he could get permission for the flight. That was resolved apparently since he made the flight this morning, May 10th. For a short article and a video of the flight….

    Interesting....bet the Youtube comments would have been pretty much the same, had the 'Net existed back when the Wright brothers were "power gliding". Yeah....look where that took humanity! It'll be interesting to see if anyone follows up and expands upon the technology.

    I think you're on to something here. I'd like to take a flight to work instead of drive.

    Same here. If they won't invent our futuristic flying cars, I would take a jetpack. I can see a bunch of oil companies or automobile manufacturers doing everything they can to squash this, though.
