G'day Crapgame Not too long ago these paople were on German television in a documentary with the same story. It's awful they are still suffering that much from their past being only children from an "enemy" father. Bu not only Norwayhas these kind of story's but every occupied country had these lovechilds. In Band of Brothers there is a scene how at the Liberation of Holland the girlfriends of German soldiers got shaven bold in public. These collaborators were branded for life and even now some of their children are psychologicaly affected. Popski
It is sad as the children are innocent on what happened and didn´t even understand why they were tormented... No wonder they had severe traumas and psychological problems.
Reading about these children you start to realize how much hatred was generated against the Germans. Anyone who collaborated with them was severely punished once their country was liberated by the allies. There are many stories of collaborators being jailed and executed after the war, and even more of these people being shot in cold blood by various resistance groups. And the women and their children always suffered the worst treatment if the father was a German. What I find most disturbing about Crapgame's stories is the official sanctioning of this hatred, not only just at war's end but into the sixties as well. It's bad enough that individuals will take out their hatred and jealousy on children, but for a government to also participate in this, is extremely sad. _________ "Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws." - Plato (427-347 B.C.)
