    Having difficulties finding operational strength of the 8th Air Force. Not just number of groups and such but actual number of aircraft per group, squadron, wing etc. Either a website or book.

    Karl martin has helped you with a volume or two by Englishman Roger Freeman but also try : www.armyairforces.com

    Quite a range of topics on their discussion boards and several great vets for help.

    Also check on the web-for US bomber divisions such as the 1, 2nd and 3rd in the 8 th Air Forces. I belong to the 2nd and receive their quarterly newsletter as a friend of the 445th bg.
