Weird, I've just purchased a seven speed mountain bike for excercise at age 60, I have a little Chevy pickup and a two-seater sporty unit (Fiero). Don't like RVs, my Dad owns a couple, and my step-mom used to sell them. Lots of jeeps and 4x4s over the years, just none right now. Not looking forward to the wheelchairs or power scooters.

Hmmm. I've got my SUV, but don't foresee a motorhome. Nowhere near ready for the power scooter or wheel chair.

I'm about halfway between the sports car and mini-van. Defentitly past the "all about me" type attitude, but not quite at the "family man" mentality.

I'll never "grow up" I fear. I still wish my youngest son hadn't let my FXE get stolen, or had at least kept up the insurance when I let him take it down to a job interview in West Yellowstone in 1998. I couldn't ride it at the time (last bone graft on left wrist), and didn't want him to take the Fiero that I could still drive. Still have the Fiero, a little Chevy S-10, and the seven speed "mountain bike" I mentioned earlier.

To be honest though it is an eZip version made by Currie which has a TAG/PAD (pedal assit drive) setting with an electric motor for help when my old knees give out on a ride. That way I can pick a gear I can use, and get "help" from the motor to get my old butt home.

I took the pics of the blue eZip for insurance purposes this summer, the ones of the Fiero were just taken now (I don't drive it in the winter), and my S-10 pics are from this fall when I wanted to show my kids how nicely it was looking these days!

The very day I have about $50 K laying around doing nothing, this is the car I’m going to order up, in a white and blue color scheme not the red and white show here for the GT4T.

    See:

V-8 Archie -- Pontiac Fiero V-8 Kits and Kit Cars

    and:

    V-8 Archie's GT4T

Order it up, send them a Cashier’s Check, get on the Empire Builder at Havre Montana and go to Chicago, get a ride to Machesney Park, IL., pay any "left-over" I owe and drive it home. I know I’d have to put in my own "tunes", but it has heat and A/C. Hey, I can dream can’t I?

After you have had five knee operations, and become arthritic in your sixties you might change your mind a tad.
