Just finally got the chance last night to watch this movie through from end-to-end. This movie I would give a 10-of-10 w/ 10 the highest.

Some of the fine Actors in it are-Gary Cooper as the leading Star-closely followed by Charlton Heston-who by that time was a great leading Star-and I was kind of surprised-and very pleased-to see that Richard Harris was in that movie.

Any Coop, Heston and Harris fans-should see ths movie. Also, this was the first of I think only two films that both Heston and Harris made together-the other being Major Dundee, and also the only film either of them made opposite Gary Cooper.

I've always loved this movie - Richard Harris makes an excellent villain, and the shots of Heston getting the old reciprocating steam engine of the ship to work are superb. The early part of the film is really quite suspenseful, too.....

I had the same thought about Richard Harris. I thought that he and the two leads did a magnificent job. I've been wanting to get this on DvD and for some strange reason-it appears to not have such a huge release like most movies get.
