it was a good movie perfumed by few actors
in it German made a plot to in which Germans invade an East Anglian village in an attempt to kidnap Winston Churchill. The Church of St Margaret.
the colonel of thoese x german army trop was lastly killed the winston chirchill and he got murderd by thoses officals who were doing the security of winston but the real winston chirchill was that time in iran
    and he was alive
im not sure that the movie was based on reailty or was a fake movie
i also think so that why didnt himmler try to run the german army when hitler died ,socided or killed what ever
i also liked the role of that colonel it was awesome it was played by Michael Caine in 1976
    any comments
just to read more about who was that colonel and to read more about how did hitler died im also interested to read who was at the time performing the winston chirchill role who was killed by the coloner who was that actor who was used by the government if i think the flim was real and winston was reaily at iran !:)

It was a work of fiction based on the book by Jack Higgins. What set this movie apart at the time is was made, was the use of real WWII hardware, and sound effects that were genuine (rifle fire for example).
