Only stumbled upon this forum today (a bit dumb of me really, seeing as it's been right under my nose with it being linked to or even advertised on some other sites/forums that I've used for a while!), so I thought I'd join up. Anyway, I'm interested (obsessed?) in several subjects of military history from the late 19th century through to the end of the 20th but, for WW2, mainly study the 1940 campaign in F&F. I also have an interest in the actions in Belgium,Luxembourg, Holland and Germany (western) in 1944 and 1945. I look forward to , hopefully, being able to contribute something to the forum. Dave
Thanks for the welcome chaps. Some familiar names on here ,I'm sure I'll feel at home. Call me what you want, Adam - I've been called a hell of a lot worse! You really don't want to know! Dave
Za, Google "drinking games freckles". Dave, who was Fritz Bayer by the way? All I can find is this German toy manufacturer. BAYER TOYS - Puppenwagen, Puppen, Zubehoer, Doll Prams, Dolls, Accessories, Jouets, Fritz Collect them too do ya?
You know him better as Friedrich, Owen. Found a couple of references referring to him as "Fritz". I (as he probably did) find it catchier than Friedrich. Dave
Doh! Of course from the photo that Rich posted. ImageShack - Hosting :: scannenhs1.jpg CO of II/82 IR, 31ID. I had to check on the ghost ww2talk site for that. Still can't back to the real one.
