    I bought this helmet on a norwegian army sale, and i thought it looked really cool since it was very used...

    I dont know when it was made or used, maybe you guys can find that out?

    Hi Colllector-yep. It just didn't work for me but did so just now. I guess it's trouble with my bros computer?

    Anyway, thanks for the pic of the helmet. I have only 1 GI steel pot which was my Dads from WWII-and is a fixed bale lid.

    The liner isn't like the WWII pot I have . Could it be post war?

    Both the liner and steel pot are post war Belgian

    Hi Skipper, I hadn't thought about it at the time but yep-definately a post war liner. Period liners are made out of a fibreglass-like or bakelite-like material. My Dads lid is a collectors classic.
