Run it under "Compatibility Mode"; go to "Start", "All Programs", "Accessories", then "Program Compatability Wizard"; follow the on-screen prompts to choose the program that SP was designed for.

I'M addicted to Battlefield 2; I LOVE being a SAW gunner or a SPECOP with an M-4/SCAR.

With you on the HALO thing; USED to play it every night a while ago, got really good at it, too (though those 14 year old kids have MUCH better reaction times than I do!). Pretty rusty now; might do okay with a shotgun. Ever play HALO I? That's all I've got; even used to be in a "clan".

I've become addicted to this funny little game called 'Minecraft' recently. You basically dig around on a map to get resources which you use to build tools...so a wooden pick allows you to mine stone, which lets you make a stone-pick, which allows you to mine faster and get iron, which allows you to get iron ingots which lets you build iron-picks, which let you mine gems, etc etc. Then you use the resources and build! Some one built a replica of the Enterprise in game (to scale!!) while others have recreated images from games. Me, I like to build castles! I'll post a screenshot one of these days, but most of it is all hidden underground in the mineshafts. I should be reaching China pretty soon :)
