Wilma M. Keesbury (1924 - 2008) MONTPELIER,OHIO - Wilma M. Keesbury, 83, of Montpelier, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan. Born Feb. 26, 1924, in Williams County, to Laura (Backus) and Lee Ansley, she married Richard G. Keesbury in 1952, and he preceded her in death in 1965. A World War II veteran, having served in the Navy, she was a medical technician for 40 years at Cleveland Clinic, St. Vincent's Hospital, The Defiance Clinic and West Central Medical Center in Toledo. A Montpelier and Defiance area resident, she was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge in Montpelier. Surviving are 12 nephews and a niece. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Orlo and Hal Ansley and her twin, William Ansley; and two sisters, Thelma Marie Whitney and Mary Fetters. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman-Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, and Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Tim Reynolds to officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance. Memorials may be made to the church or to Hospice of Williams County.
