Oh I can handle the cold, it is quite lovely to visit. I just have the good common sense not to live in it. NYUK NYUK NYUK :D

Our one and half month long winter is all set to begin here shortly. Last snow? Jan 2002 and lasted a day and half.

If done carefully it's not so bad, problem is if you get used to it and then begin to like it.

Just for curiosity's sake, here's the forecast for today over here:

    Shiver, Mortals, shiver!

And If I'm not at New Englan's latitude, I'm close to it, way way north from Texas, Alabama, Obama, and all the rest!

I'm at 32N, you are at 38N, and Slava is at 39N. London is 51N.
We're having roughly the same temps as you

We were around a moderate 40 degrees this afternoon. Was somewhat chilly this morning, but nothing that bad. My guess is that it is a few degrees cooler in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

I thought I might respond to Joe (the thread starter) since the last activity bug has been repaired, all members last activity is now accurately recorder as within this century, and no longer "December 31st, 1969." There were a series of other minor glitches with inactive member profiles that were causing problems, and these have all been cleared up also.

And now we are ready for the next round of improvements. ;)
