As we´ve been talking about the WW1 tactics I remembered one film I saw a long time ago and started wondering what it could be and hoped to see it again if I just got its name. It is about the start of the war on the British side, and I think there´s three main characters, one of which is quite tall and keeps on spitting every now and then. It shows the horror during the initial attacks when men are walking towards the enemy and German snipers get several as well as later on the Maxims. ´ It´s a black and white movie, I recall. Anybody recall seeing this kind of film and remember the name of it? Thanx!
