Louis de Cazenave, one of the last French "poilus" WWI vet (1914-18), died at the age of 110 ans Born 16 octobre 1897, Louis de Cazenave was the oldest surviving French WWI vet. He fought from 1916 in the 5th Senegalese bataillon . in 1919, after the war he became a railroad worker. He will have a nationwide funeral. The last French WWI survivor is Lazare Ponticelli, born 7 décembre 1897.
