1944 at Cochran Field, Georgia I soloed with AT-6. The next take off I pulled the wrong lever and dropped the flaps. All I remember is the plane went down a little and then up over the tree’s. I didn’t say any thing and continued practicing take off and landing. About a month later we seen a cadet drop his flaps on take off and my instructor looked at me and said “you would not do that would you?”
