La Cambe War Cemetery
La Cambe cemetery is the largest German military cemetery in Normandy. The cemetery was finished in 1961, and inaugurated in September of that year. In total there are 21,222 German soldiers commemorated here, many of these were very young men, between the ages of 18 to 20 years old.
