I'm excited to join the forum. My name is Bryon O. Happy to be here. Hope to read and learn a lot. I have been interested in history since I was in grade school. Cannot wait to dive into all the info on this forum. Not a expert on anything at all, I just enjoy learning and reading anything pertaining to World War 2. I was not a member of the military, but come from a family with many uncles and my father who were. My father worked on the flight deck of the USS Ranger during Vietnam. I look forward to reading everyone's contributions and expanding my knowledge!
Thanks in advance for having me!
    Bryon O.

Nice to meet you Byron and welcome aboard! I have a blown up photograph of the USS Ranger a family friend who was onboard gave me years ago. One of my most favorite pieces in my collection.

Greetings! I've always wanted to visit Ottumwa. I'd love to have a pair of Stride Rite shoes.

Welcome Bryon, it's always nice to see new faces around here, as for history, hours upon hours can be spent here just reading and understanding what it must have been like. Welcome to the Forum.

That would be cool. I try to keep on the lookout for Ranger Items to give me dad. We plan on visiting the ship again once it is opened as a museum.

I'm always on the lookout for pictures, or patches. Maybe a flag if possible.
